GNC brought Holy fun at ENDP Karubanda

Last Sunday 8^th May, GNC was expected to visit ENDP Karubanda and celebrate a holy mass together with students from that school. The mass started at 8:00AM facilitated by father Yves from Cameroon, the mass was amazing apart from Good People, student seemed interested and happy may be due to the new style of music GNC brought to them or because it was VD. Before the mass officially start matron Jeanne d’Arc welcomed Good People in their establishment and gave a word to an OG from that school and current member of GNC Ms. Gloria to say Hi! To her former schoolmate to prove to them that people they are having there are not strangers but Good News proclaimers.

After celebration of Eucharist before final blessing, Headmistress Marie Goreth took the flow and highlighted certain key issues apart from welcoming Good People in her school. “Welcome to our school and feel at home I hope this is not your last time here, we loved your singing technique like how you sing with joy and the way you are many in numbers keep ministering good news of the Lord, keep giving people reasons to stay in catholic church through Ecclesia modern music but please fight against the pending issue of people withdrawing from catholic church to other new churches” States Headmistress Goreth, she continued to stress about that issue and seemed very concerned and saddened by current students and former servants of the Lord in catholic church who left catholic church, good people promised the headmistress to do best they can to keep people in catholic church for it is has been since its foundation, is now and will always be around.

When you are feeling Holy fun into you

“I would love to thank you all for the way you welcomed us in your establishment and the way school officials facilitated us to make all this happen, it was something we’ve always wanted to do but due to differences in academic year schedules we couldn’t make it” said President Astaire, He continued his speech hitting the focus why good people were there, where he said we are here for two reasons, like you heard we are Good News Choir, we are here to proclaim the good news of the Lord that’s our job that’s what we enjoy doing. Secondly, we are here to dress you up with the Good News Choir gauns, wear them today until you join us for good after school and sing with us. “When you get to University you will be mature, there will be some decisions you will need to take, we are here to help you make good choices and good decisions to join Good News Choir when you reach University”, said Astaire.

Like any other catholic church based school the ENDP has a choir called Arma Rucis which means “weapons of light” though it is made of girls only it sings excellently, straight after mass GNC had a dialogue with them and entertainment session together where both sides shared music experiences and techniques, the entertainment session was opened by Matron Jeanne d’Arc who called GNC on the stage to sing and show Arma Rucis choir how they should stand on stage and give them different hints, GNC performed several songs and like it is claimed to be one of the coolest choirs around Good people proved it that where they are there is fun, they sang and danced with Arma Rucis members, what was dialogue turned to be a semi concert for GNC brought holy fun in the house and people enjoyed. Not only GNC performed, Arma Rucis also performed some of their songs and for sure they sing great, especially their fourth voice (bass).

“Thank you very much, on behalf of the whole choir let me take this opportunity to thank you, we are extremely super happy”, said Madeleine President of Arma Rucis choir she continued talking about why they are in a choir not because they lack something else to do or somewhere else to be but because they love it and want to help people purify themselves through singing. She talked also how their choir works and days on which they rehearsal she later asked for partnership and support from GNC mostly on music side where they need a hand in learning how to play music instruments and new songs, Pacis Chief of music commission agreed to provide support to Arma Rucis of songs and teach them when time allows. Finally school officials allowed Good People to always come there to celebrate a mass with them whenever they feel like coming.
