It was today May 20^th, 2016 when GNC celebrated its last mass of the academic year 2015/16 at Msgr Mubiligi Technical School during its first genocide commemoration event, apart from Good News Choir members there were also other people like the Executive secretary of Ngoma Sector, members of Rwanda Defense forces, National police, members of different congregations and religious groups and other regular people. This mass was facilitated by 4 priests and lead by father Kazenga, in his homely He reminded everyone around that “except joining the rest of the country in commemoration it is a responsibility to us to always remember and pray for those who lost their lives in 1994 genocide” he continued stressing that parents should take the first step to explain to their children what really happened in Rwanda, know their history and start fighting the genocide Ideology during their early age.

Father Kazenga who lead the mass advising youth to put more effort in listening to elders to know what really happened in Rwanda and put more effort to overcome it.

This mass was the 61^st of this academic year that Good News celebrated and marks the end of services at university the next time GNC serves will be in the country tour in Kigali. At this mass also it was the first time they used the new bags to carry choir gauns and book. According to Vice President Regis the schedule for country tour will be published soon.
