Good Tour in High School started at Petit Seminaire St Vincent de Paul Ndera

After the release of public announcement by the GNC Vice President about the cancellation of the Good Tour at Lycee Notre Dame de Citeaux in Kigali city the Good News Choir has to start preparing for their next trip to Petit Seminaire St Vincent de Paul Ndera.

As communicated before the Good Tour was expected to continue at Petit Seminaire St Vincent de Paul Ndera where some of our choir members have backgrounds, on 15^th August around 8:15AM the last bus full of chorists made it to the Seminary where we had a 30min vocal warm up to start the mass in a pleasant mood. The mass started on time and facilitated by Father Bosco the Rector of the school who at first welcomed good people in their home (school). He was delighted to see some of the school OBs still walking in the right path of following and serving Jesus Christ. At the same day it was also the birthday of the Seminary Choir master and his Co choir master.

Good News Choir in the celebration of mass they sang a couple of good songs including black American songs AIN’T GOT TIME TO DIE and SOON AH WILL BE DONE which got the attention of seminary students. Before the conclusion of mass GNC President was given a speech who stressed on how happy we are for solemnity of Mother Mary and how good it is to celebrate a mass in one the catholic schools that never ceased to support Good News Choir by sending us choir member, he also invited seminary students to join GNC once they are done with high school studies or once they are in holidays. After mass good people were taken to different corners of the school to see how life is there.

Straight after a walk around the school compound Good people headed to the Seminary Main Hall for a deep conversation with Seminary choir masters choir and had a small concert together in one on one song, Choir masters choir sang some good songs like Turakuramutsa, Christus Vincit, Laudate Dominum,.. not only a one on one concert that we shared, we also shared lunch together and after that got entertained by the Seminary Orchestra and that marked the end of good tour at Petit Seminaire St Vincent de Paul Ndera. Good Tour is heading to Petit Seminaire de Rwesero St Dominique Savio on 28^th August everyone is invited.
