As its mission of
inspiring and educating audiences with repertoire featuring new and lesser-known choral music GNC continues to impact the
neighboring schools through paying them visits and celebrate a mass together,
this time GNC is expected to celebrate a holy mass on 17th April at
10:00AM with seminary students from “Petit SeminaireVirgo Fidelis de Karubanda” who
will be coming back from holidays, it won’t be the first time for Good News to
perform there for back in 2013 GNC was there to perform in a High School Choir
competitions from which the Seminary Choir won too.
Vice President Regis
talking about the High School Visit
The vice president Regis states that “this will not be like any
other regular mass we used to have outside our parish” for the seminary chapel
is small the school Authorities said that it will host only 60 GNC members so
that seminary students get seats, regarding how the selection will be made
President Regis said that the selection is simple and fair 60 members who will
attend all rehearsals as required will be selected and the list of those who
will go, will be announced Saturday after rehearsal
GNC
is going to celebrate a mass outside the parish because next Sunday will be the
third Sunday of the month and the church will be reserved for Ecclesia basic
communities straight after the first mass, this will not be the first visit out
the parish in this academic year for we have been at GSOB and Gatagara high
school too.
