GNC did it well again on Country tour at St Pierre Parish Cyahafi

Good News Choir

On its journey to move from the level it has been on for several years GNC started a tour that cover several parish in many coners of this country where they are proclaiming the good news of the Lord and advertising their music to all Rwandans across the country while preparing for their 20th Anniversary next year in 2017. As communicated before in different means of media Good News Choir was expected to continue its country tour at St Pierre Parish Cyahafi and celebrate a Holy mass with Christians from that parish, the mass started at 5:00PM as usual though the mass is celebrated in French GNC was cool with that for in its nature it is capable of singing in several languages like Swahili, Latin, Luganda, Kinyarwanda, Lingara, Kirundi, French, … but mainly English. To cope up with the habit of the parish GNC had to set some French songs on its repertoire of that day like Gloria was a French song (Chant de Gloire), Creed (Je crois en Dieu createur) and Sanctus (Saint le Seigneur de l’univers). Beside that on the repertoire we had also some famous and loved songs such as Closer to you and Ikuzo.

Good people listening to Homily

This mass was facilitated by Father Edison who even facilitated the opening mass of country tour St Michael Cathedral, in his homily he focused on the gospel of today where Jesus asks his disciples who they say He is, Father Edison stressed that Jesus is a different from one person to another depending on the situation you are in for example if you are a widow you will say that Jesus is your husband, for an orphan He is a father to him, … he continued his preaching on the fact of different crosses that exist in our life where he said that we have two types of crosses Natural and artificial, a natural cross example is like when you are sick that is not something you wanted to happen to you but it happened to you anyway while an artificial cross is when you are responsible for those bad things happening to you for example some who smoke when you talk to them one may say I smoke because I was born in a smoking family everybody in my family smokes, that person when he gets a lung cancer and suffer to death that is a cross he is responsible of and called it himself.

Father Edison who facilitated the mass

In general Christians enjoyed every single moment of this mass but mainly on music side they enjoyed the communion song and thanksgiving songs.
