What we thought would be...

This last weekend was made of surprises! From the Friday visit to the Charity Act at CARAES.

This Friday we had to visit Mr. Joseph GHASSY from Goma, DRC who is Water and Environmental Engineering level IV. Good people went to Cambodge hostel 149 to what they thought would be a simple visit but turned out to be a simple “Ligne”.

Mr. Joseph brought a speciality from DRC “Isambaza” freshly prepared by his mother as a sign of gratitude to the Good people for taking care of his son. With a history preceding every answer he managed to answer every question. We all enjoyed his touching and inspiring stories but mostly his laugh.

GNC also participated in the welcome concert organized by the parish to welcome new students and Father Denis who is replacing Father Bruno.

Though the late end of the concert, we had to sing the 7 am mass at Indatwa n’Inkesha. What we thought would be as routine visit to GSOB and Christ the King choir because they are in the period of exams turned into a moment of Praise and Happiness.

Later we went to CARAES where we also shared the Good mood to those people who are usually rejected by the society; the visit was closed by a talk with Mr. Damian who explained some of the causes leading to mental disturbance and how they take care of those people, he indicated that they have a mass every Wednesday at 2:30 pm thereby inviting us to join them whenever we are free and praise the Lord together.

What we thought would be 4,5,6 years of studies and hard work, Jesus turned this into Good moments of praise and happiness through the Good News Choir.
