GNC Back in the studio to record second Album

For the second time in a decade Good News Choir also known as GNC the founding choir of English community is recording its second album a 10 songs album with multi language pieces mainly English, Luganda, Kirundi & Kinyarwanda. The realize of the album coincide with the celebration of Good News Choir 20^th Anniversary which is normally celebrated on 14^th July but because it will be in summer holidays the celebration and realize of the album will be done on 29^th – 30^th April 2017.

Good People start with a physical and vocal warm up before recording

The “Closer to You my Lord” album will be something different compared to their first album “Let me give Him praises” and will include some uplifting songs and a few sure to pull on the heart strings. Ngabo Fabrice former GNC President [2014 – 2015] said that the choir are very excited to be part of this recording and once all works is done this album is expected to take Good News Choir to another level.

The nature of serving God in a choir at university is not stable because the choir has an ever-changing line-up, but their core ethos of being the best they can be remains constant and they have had considerable success since forming, performing locally and further afield in high-profile venues like schools and parishes especially during the Good tour 2016.

Alto singers ready to kick the song

Yesterday 23^rd January 5 out 10 songs to be recorded were done plus which are being corrected now and other 3 fresh songs which will be recorded today. It is expected the recording process will be done today January 24^th 1:00PM local time and the next Phase will be mastering and finishing which will be done by Producer Peter Bisangwa a specialist and music producer from Alpha & Omega studio. For this first phase of our album production to be successful we sincerely appreciate the support from Music Team, Choir Members and Good News Family who never cease to be there when we need them, God Bless you all abundantly.
