Going home, Going home
On 15th January 2017, Good News Choir sang
their last Holy mass of the 1st semester of the academic year
2016-2017. After a long semester that started on 12th September 2016
and ended on 16th January this year, many of us are
going back to our homes and families except few who still have classes and
exams mainly medical students.

It was very
emotive to see how good people bid their goodbyes to each other after a long
semester working together for the Lord, sharing joyful moments, getting to know
each other more through different social activities, helping each other in
different ways. It was a good time to come closer to the Lord, it was an
important opportunity to use all our effort in serving our King.

Now it’s time to look back with cheerfulness, because our
efforts gave fruits, for we were able to accomplish much of what we
had planned, because of the new committee of the choir and also because we were
blessed enough to welcome a significant number of new members in the choir, who
love God and the choir, who are committed and comprehend all choir activities. We
are simply thankful as Good News Choir.
In addition to other daily activities of the choir
including; singing holy masses, rehearsals, visits, good breakfasts… Ahead of us we have a lot of activities to
work on:
·
11th March 2017: Pilgrimage to the
holy land of Kibeho.
·
2nd April 2017: Charity action at
CHUB.
·
29th
April 2017: LAUNCH OF OUR 2ND ALBUM “CLOSER TO YOU”.
·
30th April 2017: End of year party
and Cacahuete declaration and celebration of our 20th anniversary.
As many of us are going to
this short break, we should keep in mind that these activities will require our
involvement, our ideas, our time, our financial support, our prayers so that we
can attain the perfection we want, and really make these moments unforgettable.
Let us keep the good pace.
Have joyful holidays…..
