Good News Choir

It’s a new year, it’s a good year

        On 8^th January 2017, one of the four choirs of  university parish St Dominic, GOOD NEWS CHOIR, sang their first holy mass of the year it was on the epiphany of our lord Jesus Christ, as the three wise men came from east to pay homage to the new born King, Good news choir members came from different places where the stay to give thanks to the Heavenly lord our new born King, and we really sang very well, in a tranquil, humble and spiritual mood. The Holy mass was celebrated by a Good news family member, Father Kazenga John Baptist.

                    

                 It’s a new year, it’s a good year, it’s time to look back where we are from with no regrets and thankful. And also it is time to look where we are heading with faith, patience, positivism and full of enthusiasm and ready to work for our Lord Jesus  Christ, it’s time to give our best in everything we do in the daily life of the choir as well as in our daily lives.

           The recently ended year, 2016 was a wonderful, splendid, marvelous year to the Good news choir. It was its 19^th year of existence and a lot of activities were done in this year, including; 

•       Charity actions
•       Pilgrimage to the holy land of Kibeho
•       Yearly spiritual recollections of the choir
•       The Good News choir concert 
•       The end of the Year party
•       Good tour
•      different social activities including; visits, interaction with other choirs,     cacahuete, Komeza imihigo, Good breakfast and so much more....
•      For the first time, the online registration of choir members was introduce.   and it is very sad if you aren't yet registered.
•      Visits from GNF and their generous support they provided for us in everything      we were in need of as GNC

      In brief, it  is was a year of achievements, dedication and  hard work from all of us, and to spread the Good news of our lord Jesus Christ. we thank the heavenly Father who gave us courage and  life. and everyone of us deserves to be heartily thanked.

 So as we all know, every finishing line is the beginning of a new race, so it is the  starting point in our new year. its our twentieth  year of existence. a year with a lot of things to do, that will require enormous effort from all of us. 

They are a lot of things to prepare including: 

• preparation of our second album , 
• our twentieth anniversary , 
• the concert to launch our Second album, 
• the end of the year party
• pilgrimage to the Holy land of Kibeho
• Charity actions
• and so much more....

       All of this will require everyone's active participation and dedication, and its our duty and responsibility. It's me, It's you , It's us to build our Good News Choir. It is time to portray peace, love , and unit. Let us be part of the choir's daily activities , let us be a motivation, a good  example, and a light  to our brothers and sisters in the choir, in the community and in our families.

 The GNC IT Team , and the 2016-2017 GNC Committee wishes you a prosperous year, a year of improving our Spiritual, mental , social ,and physical lives.
